San Jose, Calif. – Unity Care is proud to announce their Silver Anniversary and Annual Gala event – YouthLive! (unitycare.org/youthlive) with Keynote Speaker, Stedman Graham. This year’s celebration will take place Saturday, August 25, 2018, purposefully marking 25 years since Unity Care opened their first home for foster youth.
Every year, the illustrious black-tie gala draws over 350 local business leaders, philanthropists and community partners to celebrate Unity Care’s unique impact on the community. This year’s event will highlight successes from Unity Care’s past 25 years of service to foster youth and families throughout Silicon Valley. Attendees will enjoy a night filled with live music, youth art auctions, and testimonials from former Unity Care foster youth. “It will be a night to remember!” said Founder and CEO, André Chapman. “With 25 years of experience, the memories shared by our youth and supporters are sure to include a few happy tears in celebration of all the kids whose lives we have changed for the better.”
The shared vision between Unity Care and Stedman Graham is to create healthier communities through youth development. Unity Care will use the platform of YouthLive! to not only celebrate the strengths observed over the past 25 years, but to also lay the foundation for building their next 25 years of service. When asked what Unity Care’s future may include, Mr. Chapman said, “Our goal is to eradicate the homelessness issues for youth aging out of foster care.” As for Unity Care’s next 25 years… “This is just the beginning.”
