San Jose, Calif. – Unity Care, a non-profit agency serving at-risk youth and families proudly unveils its new logo in honor of its 20th anniversary. The logo emphasizes the core focus of the agency.
The agency has developed a solid reputation as advocates for the most effective, efficient and culturally proficient form of care for children and families involved in Foster Care. In August 1993, Founder and CEO André V. Chapman, opened the doors to the agency’s first residential treatment home for foster boys in San Jose.
Over the next 20 years, Unity Care emerged as a leading non-profit and experienced tremendous growth. Today, Unity Care has grown to 160 dedicated staff members and offers a full array of community-based, mental health and housing programs to over 3,500 children and families annually.
André Chapman, Founder and CEO, said “I remember the day I brought our first foster boy down from the children’s shelter. I felt it was our responsibility to help these lonely young men. I’m proud to say that we have succeeded transforming these men, and will continue to stay true to our mission in creating healthier communities.”
